There are several goals I am pursuing with my MSc degree. Some of them are:

• Create a working model of sustainable living, internal and external, and increasing my skills in designing and coaching that.
• Offer information that others can use to do something similar for themselves.
• Make our home a place that provides for many of our basic needs.
• Exchanging goods and services with neighbors, the community, local folks and the people stewarding the land in the bioregion, partaking in a local economy.
• Build social contacts.
• Have fun.
• Learn more about urban permaculture design and how to establish vibrant, ecological resilient communities.
• Demonstrate how working from home can provide something of value to the community and for our livelihood
• Bring my personal values inline with my actions
• Form a circle that empowers each other to bring our love, light,care and passion for the planet and people to our communities, working on our personal growth and supporting each other on our paths.
• I would like to work with mentors, who lived in, designed and successfully implemented sustainable living projects in pre-existing urban environments and apply a broad perspective of ecological thinking to a number of different fields.

Some related goals are:

• Overcome my procrastination
• Spending more time with Berta smelling flowers and watching hummingbirds
• Be more physical active and spend time outside.
• Break the pattern of not completing what I have started. For example I played musical instruments, studied psychology and trained in expression dance, but did not “complete” or keep alive any of them for one or another reason.
• Have clear agreements in place in any project, including business ones. Past experience with other business ventures showed me that without clear agreements there will be problems later, among them a partnership owning a commercial property, a bookselling company, an Internet café and a meet-chicken operation, all of which ran into some kind of trouble because of the lack clarity.

My learning wants seem almost endless, here a selection:

• Training as lifestyle coach
• Learn drawing, drafting and 3 D modeling.
• Review object oriented programming
• Learn Java, how to set up LAMP servers, install networks and repair computers
• Increase ecological and social design skills, knowledge and experience
• Learn to speak Spanish
• Learn about plants and animals, specially from our area
• Learn to build machines, using metals and other materials
• Learn how to build furniture,
• Build with natural materials
• Install solar energy systems
• Study science like math and physics

There are several things I would like to achieve in the future, besides finishing my studies with Gaia University.

• Attend inspiring events and meet inspiring people.
• Revive creativity in music and drawing.
• Continue traveling the world and stay several months in one place.
• Spend more time on improving my health.
• Live from passive income.
• Learn more about how to live and survive in nature.
• Learn how to make green wood furniture
• Share skills, knowledge and experiences with others and support each other on our life’s journey.
• Work on meaningful, strategic projects with others that manifest all the love, light, care and gifts we carry inside of us
